Every opportunity lost makes room for many more opportunities gained.
Happiness is a journey, not a destination. (that one I saw around town)
Love is a journey, not a destination. (that's my own twist!)
Give thanks.
Have those been true for you too?

Well, in my first comment I included the quote about "happiness is not a destination, but a way of travel" which I heard from my grampa when I was in high school. That has helped me enjoy life, chuckle a lot, and savor the "golden moments" big and small.
If God is "becoming all his people need" (I am that I am), is it any wonder that we are beings of becoming whose meaning is found in becoming (traveling and loving). In fact, often the greatest progress we make is as we interact with others in their needs to become what they need. (Not necessarily what they want, but what they need.)
Ponder on!
